Wire Wallet includes an optional social layer that lets you join communities—spaces built around shared interests, creators, brands, or events. Communities allow you to earn badges, participate in challenges, connect your social accounts, and unlock exclusive campaigns, all while keeping your wallet fully non-custodial.

You can use Wire Wallet normally without joining any communities, but they add a new interactive dimension for users who want more than basic wallet functionality.

Do I Need a Wire Wallet App Account to Join Communities?

No.
Using Wire wallet in anonymous mode is the default and joining a community is anonymous to your local wire wallet instance.

Even with an account, your wallet remains fully non-custodial.

Privacy and Permissions

Wire Wallet only requests the minimum permissions needed to participate.
We never:
