Supported Blockchains & Assets in Wire Wallet

Wire Wallet is a multi-chain, non-custodial wallet designed to support the most widely used Layer-1 networks, tokens, and NFTs. Our goal is to provide seamless cross-chain experiences while maintaining full user ownership of private keys and assets.

Current Supported Networks

Wire Wallet currently supports the following major blockchain networks:

 Solana

  • SOL

  • SPL tokens

  • Solana NFTs

  • Staking with supported validators

  • DEX-aggregated swaps

Solana support in Wire Wallet is full-featured and includes staking, rewards, and advanced features.

 Ethereum

  • ETH

  • ERC-20 tokens

  • ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs

  • WalletConnect for dApps

  • Swap support via integrated DEX aggregators

Ethereum network fees (gas) apply for all actions.

Bitcoin

  • BTC

  • Native Bitcoin transactions

  • Send and receive BTC directly on the Bitcoin network

  • Public address and transaction history support

  • Block explorer links for transaction verification

Bitcoin uses a UTXO-based model and does not support smart contracts, NFTs, or token standards like ERC-20.
Bitcoin network fees apply to all transactions and vary based on network congestion.

Additional Networks (coming soon)

Wire Wallet is expanding support across major ecosystems, which may include:

  • Avalanche (AVAX)

  • Polygon (MATIC)

  • XRP
  • Bitcoin (BTC)

  • Binance Smart Chain (BNB)

  • Arbitrum / Optimism (L2 networks)

  • Wire Network Layer-1 (launching with optional liquidity token support, staking features, and naming layer integration)

Networks become available gradually based on:

  • Stability

  • Ecosystem maturity

  • Wallet-level integration requirements

  • Security review

Users will see new networks appear automatically when enabled.

What Kinds of Assets Can Wire Wallet Hold?

Wire Wallet is capable of storing and managing:

✔ Native tokens

  • SOL

  • ETH

  • BTC
  • Other chain-native currencies as new networks are added

✔ Fungible tokens

  • SPL tokens (Solana)

  • ERC-20 tokens (Ethereum)

  • Tokens from future supported chains

✔ NFTs

  • Solana NFTs (Metaplex standard)

  • Ethereum NFTs (ERC-721 and ERC-1155)

NFT display includes:

  • Artwork preview

  • Collection info

  • Token metadata (when available)

✔ Staking and liquidity tokens

Where networks support liquid staking, Wire Wallet can hold:

  • Staked tokens

  • Liquid staking receipts

  • Wire Network liquidity tokens (when available)

Are All Tokens Visible by Default?

No — to reduce clutter, Wire Wallet only auto-displays:

  • Popular tokens

  • Known ecosystem assets

  • Tokens with verified metadata

You can always enable or hide tokens manually.

Unsupported Assets

Wire Wallet currently does not support:

  • Tokens on unsupported networks

  • Assets requiring custodial management

  • Wrapped chains that lack standard wallet compatibility

Unsupported assets simply won’t show up—they are never lost as long as they were sent to the correct chain address type.

How We Prioritize New Network Support

Before adding a new chain, we evaluate:

  • Security of the network

  • WalletConnect/hardware signing compatibility

  • RPC stability

  • DEX and staking ecosystem maturity

  • Demand from Wire Wallet users and partners

Our approach ensures that expansions are safe, stable, and useful.
